Fundamentals Sew Along - Week 51

Hi Everyone:

     Block 51 everyone, we are almost there.   I will understand if you are not keeping up this week.    It is a crazy busy time for alot of you.  But if you are fantastic!

     This weeks block is called Beacon Lights.  Sew your small square using colour #2 to colour #1 triangles creating a pieced triangles.  Make 4 of these.


Pieced Triangle

     Next sew two triangles from colour #2 to medium square of colour #1 lining up the centre of the triangle to the squares.  See photo below.  Make 4 of these.



Pieced Block Segment

     Sew fabric #3 rectangles in place.


Pieced Block Segment

     Layout two pieced triangles and one pieced block segment and sew them together to create a larger pieced triangle.  Make two of these.

Pieced Triangle Block Segment

     Layout the remaining two block segments with your fabric #1 square in the middle and sew them together.


Centre Block Segment

     Piece together your three block segments to create your block.

     These are your finished blocks.
